Blackburne Costin, MBA

Blackburne Costin brings years of practical experience as a leader, executive and consultant. His exploits have taken him from the hockey rinks of upstate New York to the deserts of North Africa and now Southern California.

At Centauric, Blackie guides clients to improve their leadership impact in a down-to-earth and practical manner. He began his career with SennDelaney Leadership Consulting Group, where he refined his coaching and management skills. As Senior Vice President of Human Resources for UniHealth, he oversaw an organization-wide leadership development and mentoring process in addition to managing the HR function for 13,000 employees. He recently retired from Deloitte, where he worked with executive teams and individual leaders from leading organizations that included HP, Baker-Hughes, ADP, Kaiser-Permanente and Edison International.

Besides earning his MBA, cum laude, from the University of the Americas, Mexico City, Blackie is certified as a USA Hockey Level #4 Coach.
